Proceeds from the Autism Marathon are expected to facilitate:
Public education campaign which will eliminate existing stigma around autism through creating acceptance and understanding amongst those affected
Autism research to determine the statistics on Autism cases across Kenya.
Partnership with the Ministry of education and county governments to conduct outreach programs aimed at enabling autistic children and young adults acquire relevant skills.
Scholarships to school going autistic children who are needy
Create a unique job portal for persons affected by autism for the Autism Society of Kenya We shall also partner with our members to encourage the development of educational tools that can ease learning for autistic children and adults.
